There was no surprise when 15th ranked DutchLeeuwarden (10-24) was outplayed on the road by third ranked Belgian Okapi Aalst (25-9) 118-90 on Saturday. Aalst shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 56.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Leeuwarden 's players. American forward Eddie Colbert III (198, college: Charleston) fired 27 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. point guard Niels Van Den Eynde (179-2000) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 assists. Okapi Aalst's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Leo OBoyle (201-2000, college: Penn State) produced 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Dyami Janeck (185-2005) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Aalst moved-up to second place, which they share with Oostende. Leeuwarden lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 24 games lost.
